ZBA approves ABC permit...finally!

Third time was the charm as the ZBA last night, after two annoying continuations, approved by unanimous vote (which was required) the "special permit" necessary to allow the Amherst Brewing Company the right to pay a Connecticut company a lot of money (but essentially the same as what they were paying a local landlord for their smaller downtown location) to transform the former Leading Edge Gym on University Drive into a cozy, comfortable, responsible, adult-oriented--as opposed to rowdy student--brew pub.

Nice way to celebrate St. Patty's Day, eh?

Is this blog out of gas?

Running on fumes maybe.

Where have all the posters gone?
Long time passing.....

The rantings of Ed and the personal attacks on those who provide their names tends to be a deterrent.

Some things you can't find fault with.

And you would be hard pressed to find any "personal attacks" on folks, who unlike you, have the integrity to leave their names.

The blogging thing has run its course.

Or, like ABC, I can expand (if only to tweak twits like you.)

Are you going to "tweak the twits", or "tweat the twits"? That is the question.

You're obviously a regular Shakespeare, why don't you go start your own blog.

In other words, go tweak yourself.

Good for the ABC. I wish them all the success with their expansion. Go forth and bring gods goodness to the masses. Drink responsibly.

It's nice when a home grown business can thrive--and still stay in Amherst.

This blog is dead.

Then I guess no response is necessary. After all, a Cowardly Anon Nitwit says it's so.

Well, I'm a cowardly Anon., but I wish your blog and ABC best wishes. Some of us HAVE to be Anon., but we don't really have an axe to grind.

Larry, don't let 'em get you down.

When you have been down as low as I have been in the not too distant past, there's nowhere to go but up.

Today was a beautiful crisp day as I cycled a decent distance on my trusty titanium bike and no part of my body failed me.

It's now a clear night, with a supermoon rising...and my spirit soars.
