Freedom isn't free
Protestors climbed the Golden Gate Bridge to put up a “Free Tibet” banner. Now since San Francisco is the Mother of All refuge cities for illegal immigrants you gotta wonder if the perps were legal. And if one of them fell while performing the act of civil disobedience, could they suit the city?
Let’s hope His Lordship doesn’t get any ideas about Amherst’s downtown banner.

You think they paint that bridge with lead-laden paint manufactured in China?
Yeah, and let's not forget the Chinese built the western portion of the Transcontinental Railroad. (Us Irish the Eastern portion)
...and neither received a fair wage.
The middle class was built on the collective bargaining rights for labor. The middle class is a fundamental element of a healthy functioning democracy. The other part is government that respects and heads the will of the majority.
Best!
And both ethnic groups lost many to disease and accidents in those pre OSHA days.
The Chinese probably more so to smallpox (not due, however, to Lord Jeffrey Amherst and those infected blankets)
