Hadley Remembers

Unlike Amherst, Hadley has a marching band
Hard to miss Quint firetruck
DA Dave Sullivan underhand pitching candy to the kids
Barry Roberts and his magnificent horses
Cute kid with Dreama the mini pony
Nice old car
Nice new car
A motto Hadley lives by

I know times change but I've always thought Memorial Day as a quiet, somber time..... I wonder if the kids that Dave Sullivan was throwing candy to know what its all about. I'm not sure what a Corvette has to do with our war dead.....just my opinion.....

The veterans I saw seemed somber enough, but I'm sure they took no offense.

Wonderful parade. Sorry I missed it. I think whatever way you choose to remember the day is fine. I doubt any veterans took offense at a parade. It's a time to gather and that's how Hadley showed their appreciation.
