The Blarney Continues

Start of the news cycle

So they still have not found Malaysia Airlines flight 370 -- although they are getting closer -- and our local hometown newspaper continues the front page, above the fold drum beat over the Blarney Blowout.

Is a bitch session, err, I mean "public forum" between students crying to the UMass administration about how outnumbered police responded to a riot really front page material over two weeks after the event?

Update 10:05 a.m

Malaysian officials announced they have found some remains of flight 370.  Sadly, it crashed with no survivors.

Cover your own news. You are just shamelessly trying to get more hits by increasing your number of Blarney Blowout postings without actually posting any new news.

Glad you figured it all out.

Blarney seems correct. Where's some reporting? I can buy the Gazette myself.

That's the point. There's nothing worth reporting.

This meeting will be 20-odd days after the event at the university's request -- the students were requesting it on March 10th -- the first business day after the event.

Larry, regardless of what you think of the merits of their issue, the students did act responsibly here -- they were asked to wait two weeks and instead of going on a rampage or "taking over" a building, they agreed to wait.

Back in "the day", this wouldn't have happened. Remember the week-long "takeover" of Goodell or when Amy Carter got arrested?

So why are you criticizing them when they act like adults?
