Happy New Year Bach.

And like Ellen Goodman said today in her farewell column: I hope you can learn to let go.

Unlike the rest of us, the artist lives forever through his art.

He outlives the momentary hurts.

Happy New Year everyone. May it be a year of focusing on the positives that surround us.

After what happened in Hamp (truly our "Sister City") last week, we should indeed count our blessings.

In deed Larry. We should all feel fortunate and blessed.

Yeah, high on my freakin New Year's list. Gotta keep the anal academics happy.

Keep in mind my journalistic formative years were in the early- to-mid 1970s when Thomas Wolf changed the rules of, you know, that all important thing called punctuation.

Thanks. It's kind of like karate: it took me a while to get the hang of it.

And the pay is lousy.

I guess he forgot to tell all the other newspaper journalists except you. I don't remember the '70s having different grammer and punctuation than standard English in the Globe, Times, WSJ, etc. Only in your imagination. Keep up your excuses for sloppy work. They are quite amusing.

Sloppy all around: from punctuation to "facts," but
still entertaining (and occasionally insightful, esp.
the photography) - that's our Larry.

Yeah, maybe I'll pull a Lou Dobbs and start charging $4.95 a month.
