I have to get up to see the structure.

I am trying to figure out a balance for the use of the park. Interesting aspects of community life highlighted in brief displays may be a way to achieve a level of excitement. In many ways, I am trying to figure out a good mix of usages….passive, interesting, temporary.

Hope you are well.

Yes, Larry approved this back in August. The event begins today through the 11th during meal times 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Just curious: The structure put up yesterday or the day before on Kendrick Park for Sukkot -- presumably someone asked permission to do that? How long will it be up? People will ask.

This is not the first time someone has made antisemetic remarks on Larry's blog. As before, he is silent. Hmm...

Take a wild guess.......

I believe I was the ONLY Amherst Town Meeting member to stand up (at the podium anyway) and speak against the resolution calling for no attack on Iran three years ago.

I mentioned to Town Meeting that perhaps if our intelligence verified a long range missile was warming up on a silo with a nuclear or biological warhead aimed at Israel it should be, you know, TAKEN OUT!

The same day Amherst Town Meeting overwhelmingly approved the naive peacenik resolution, Iran tested a long-range missile capable or hitting Israel.

Let me ask a simple question: is asking if a town official is part of a group, any group, that is getting to utilize a town park a forbidden topic?

Or is it offensive to ask someone's religion ( I can see that it might be if one grew up in a culture that one never talks about religion or politics, but we seem to not live in such a culture.)

What about the original question is an offensive remark? because it is about religion in general? Would it have been offensive if the writer had asked if the TM was a christian?

I'm seriously asking. Thanks
