Oh, say can you see

Amherst unveiled a sparkling new, m-u-c-h larger, American flag measuring 8 ft by 12 ft on the main pole in town center during Flag Day observance--one of the six holidays the 29 commemorative flags can fly. Unfortunately the new flag is also a "ceremonial" one and will only fly on those same 6 holidays: Labor Day, Veterans Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, Patriots Day and of course the 4th of July.

The other 359 days a year Amherst will display the much smaller 5' by 8' flag. And unlike last 9/11 or the one before that, the 29 commemorative flags and the nifty new larger one will fly this coming 9/11 (and every five years thereafter), the tenth anniversary of the saddest spectacle in most Americans collective memory.

still believe the popular mechanics " official" load of crap about 911....or did yu wake up and realize the globalists planned, excecuted, and duped the stupid sheeple.... the comes patriot act which was already written years before, then afg and Iraq, no WMD's, al qaida is a CIA operation, now Libya, Yemen and on and on.

the bilderbergers are using usa's wealth and power to cause turmoil around the planet, bring hate to our country, destroy the dollar and put the middle class in the austerity poorhouse. that breakaway civilization has suceeded with their psy-ops, and people like Larry who should be deductive enough to do the research and learn the truth, are too blind with "patriotism" and brainwashed flag waving.

tell me Larry when your tradjen flag waves on 911, are you worshipping "freedom" or celebrating your ignorance of the facts about 911. 911 was a Zionist (re-formed WWII Nazis) attack on Islam. let's see....how many times was bin laden declared dead over the years? do the research, slave.

I'm worshiping freedom.

The same freedom that allows you to say the stupid things you say, over and over again.

People whom I trust were over in Iraq and helped destroy the WMDs -- and just because they weren't mixed -- you don't mix them until you use them -- doesn't mean they weren't there....

Um, they weren't there.

"WASHINGTON (AFP) – A bipartisan group of US lawmakers Wednesday sought to throw a roadblock in front of President Barack Obama's Libya policy, filing a lawsuit that charges that US military operations are unconstitutional.

Anti-war Democratic Representative Dennis Kucinich and nine other members of the House signed the lawsuit challenging the Obama administration's circumvention of Congress in authorizing use of military force in a protracted effort to oust longtime Libyan ruler Moamer Kadhafi."

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Amherst for electing Obama.

And for making Bush look better and better, every single day!

John McCain was a big cheer leader for going into Libya!! He was on board with that and spouting off about it long before Obama signed off on the operation.

Hate to tell you, but Amherst's not that powerful. The whole nation elected Obama, so get over it.

I'm seeing an evolution taking place:

The Town is getting saner.

Larry is mellower.

The commenters on this blog are getting crazier.

You of course are an exception, eh?

"A large group of noted whistleblowers--including Daniel Ellsberg, the leaker of the Pentagon Papers--has written an open letter asking that the "transparency award" given to President Obama by five open government organizations in March be rescinded.

In the letter, published in the UK Guardian, the group of 50 individuals and watchdog organizations called the Obama administration's record on secrecy and surveillance "a disgrace."

The group claims that petitioners have filed more Freedom of Information Act requests made during Obama's first term--with fewer responses--than have been logged in previous years; that the administration has squashed "legal inquiries into secret illegalities more often than any predecessor" and "amassed the worst record in U.S. history for persecuting, prosecuting and jailing government whistleblowers and truth-tellers," including WikiLeaks suspect Bradley Manning."

No wonder the Amherst mafia and their supporters love Obama.

No friggan wonder...

Ok, that's really all you have to say. Now that we know where you stand, feel free to drink the kool aid.
