Yes everybody deserves a second chance -- especially when it comes to substance abuse.
Jocelyn Brick, 27, stands before Judge Thomas Estes in Eastern Hampshire District Court
But the sympathy quota goes down dramatically after that second screw up -- especially when it happens at a normal family hour when plenty of innocent drivers are on the road.

Fortunately it will be a l-o-n-g time before Ms. Brick gets behind the wheel of a car again as the automatic license suspension for refusing the Breath Test on a second offense DUI arrest is three years.
She was released on her personal recognizance and returns to District Court April 24 with her private (no doubt expensive) attorney.
Uber thanks her in advance for her business.
ReplyDeleteWhat was the "class 'E' substance" she was charged with possessing?
ReplyDeleteI think that's kinda relevant as a lot of them exacerbate ETOH rather badly -- essentially giving her the effects of a "straight" BAC considerably higher than what hers allegedly was.
The substance was keys to a car.
ReplyDeleteAnd when she gets raped by someone giving her a ride, I hope you are all happy....
ReplyDeleteWhen she doesn't kill someone you love while driving under the influence... never mind
ReplyDeleteDeath of an uninvolved innocent would be a real tragedy, she is what crime is ,no joke
ReplyDeleteCan women not protect themselves? Give her a gun. That would prevent any impending rape that you're worried about.
ReplyDeleteActions have consequences, even for women. Equal treatment = equal responsibilities!
