Parrot AR.Drone over Groff Park, Amherst
Quick, someone call 911! A drone has violated Amherst air space despite an overwhelming Amherst Town Meeting vote to ban them.
Actually a police cruiser did drive slowly by while we were flying this AR Perrot drone, and he did not seem all that concerned. And since the venerable Amherst Town Meeting vote was merely "advisory," there's really not much authorities can do to stop the aerial fun.
If someone calls 911 to report a drone flying around..... I blame you. Unless of course its on fire or attacking someone! HA!

Fortunately for you, it only had a 20 minute flight time.
ReplyDeleteCould call for a ufo sighting
ReplyDeleteI knew I felt my civil liberties being violated earlier today.
ReplyDeleteAre you using this drone to monitor the number of golfers using the Cherry Hill Golf Course?
ReplyDeleteI hope no damage was done to the grass. They ought to have that team of inspectors from North Amherst make sure that no damage was done and that Groff park can remain open. Didn't you squish down grass blades by walking on them. Sounds like you made the park uninhabitable and dangerous if so.
ReplyDeleteSarcasm requires its own special font. Well, usually.
ReplyDeleteI am offended by the Red Skin of the drone. Kindly repaint in a non-human color.
