All the news...

So I'm trying to figure out how the DA can complete an investigation in 6.5 months where a man is shot by two different people, the second one--a police officer--killing him (and I agree it was justifiable) but still has not released her findings on the terrible, terrible bus accident that claimed a 2-year-old in North Amherst last October.

My reliable sources tell me the State Police accident reconstruction investigation team concluded it was an awful accident.

The Springfield Republican reports

The Bully reported (way back then)

  3. I am not impressed with this DA - even if she allegedly is a Republican.

This accident - either it was a tragic case of a small child bolting into traffic or it was something far more serious and how much of a rocket scientist does one have to be to figure that out? Or just toss everything up in the air and let the public decide.

The Jason Vassell case - I have seen the pictures and he is guilty as hell. You "lie in wait" and then storm across a lobby, knife extended, and then repeatedly slash at two kids cringing at the far end of the room, that is attempted murder.

And then there is the way that this DA deals with violence against women - which is so bad that I will do anything in my power to prevent any woman whom I care about from ever going to them for assistance. Not all women are man-hating lesbians and no, your victim/witness folk do not exist for the purpose of making them all lesbians.

Sometimes a woman is requesting a specific form of assistance and actually listening to her and doing what she is requesting you to do is called "empowering women" and not doing so is, well, a form of abuse itself, but I digress.

I honestly don't know what happened in that tragic incident - but do I have faith in the corrupt Amherst Police Department and the corrupt Hamp DA office -- HELL NO! And the problem with loosing credibility is that we all presume the worst and don't trust you on other stuff...

I want to see the FBI come to town...

  4. It was the State Police Accident reconstruction team that concluded it was a terrible accident. Although I think Amherst PD also came to that conclusion as well.

  5. Same state police reconstruction team that used the friction figure for packed snow in a reconstruction of an accident on the 128/38 Rotary? (Where a statie ran into someone and killed him.)

But if there is nothing there, release the report and say so. Today....
