Kira's BIG day

Couldn’t ask for a better day to celebrate a milestone for my little girl, as she turns six. Donna (the red head) and her "visiting scholar" Christine (Chinese name Zhengxin) put icing on the cake.

Muddy Brook Farm’s (and ubiquitous homegrown developer) Barry Roberts leads a wagon ride around the farm next door.

What do you expect as a gift from parents who own a Health Club? We test rode around the barriers on Lincoln Avenue (just kidding). And yes, she ALWAYS wears a helmet.

  1. Kira is a cutie! Does she do martial arts? Congrats also to you and Donna. September is the bestest month to have a birthday. (Yes, I'm biased. Altho, six sounds waaaay better than fifty.)

  2. Yep.

She's been doing karate for about six months now (in addition to gymnastics, swimming, horse riding at Muddy Brook Farm, and--most recently--soccer)

  3. These are GREAT, Larry. That birthday cake with the different- sized tiers has given me an idea for the next birthday we celebrate around here. Maybe Kira can start skipping Chinese lessons with Donna on Sundays and go biking with you now.

  4. Wish I could take credit for the cake but that was Donna's department (although Christine and Kira helped).

Yeah, if I take Kira on bike rides in place of Chinese I will NEVER get my cable TV turned back on.
