During the '90s and earl...You missed my point:<br /><br />During the '90s and early '00s, when the economy was in the midst of the go-go easy money orgy, the town took a look at what properties were "worth" based on sales and rental income and used that to raise taxes.<br /><br />Well, now, the exact opposite is true. Property values are dropping, rental income is dropping, and the town is required to tax based on 100% of evaluation. Not less, and clearly not more!<br /><br />Hence they are forced to re-evaluate downward and I think they only have 3-5 years for the entire town to be so re-evaluated.
