I think you hit on a big difference between Mohammed and Jesus. Mohammed apparently needs avenging for a slight. Jesus turns The other cheek.

Who knew World War III would be a holy war? Possible, I suppose.

I took this cartoon differently than others on first viewing. I took it to mean that Mohammad is 1) sad over the actions of his followers, 2) shallow enough to jump on the hashtag bandwagon, and 3) godly enough to forgive the supposed blasphemy.

It is this third element - the implication that Mohammad can and does forgive the free-speakers of the civilized world - that is designed to be most infuriating to the Muslim horde.

Gets 'em every time!

You're not even supposed to picture him are you? I confess I don't know what thing about him. Just can't figure out why his followers think he needs avenging. Can't he do that for himself if these things bother him so much. I guess they really only bother some of his followers. But again I knew little about Islam. I got my own problems with my own religion. lol.

I like what the Pope said. It's not right to poke fun at peoples' religion. Even though you have the right.
